The AquaTru Carafe tank is made of TritanĀ® plastic. This form of plastic is BPA and BPS free and does not leak microplastics into your drinking water. TritanĀ® plastic is regularly used in other health products, such as the Vitamix. TritanĀ® has been tested by several universities and independent laboratories. The results show that the material is safe and free from harmful substances. This model is not compatible with AquaTru Classic models.
